If you are not a Direct-Payment Settlement Class Member, then you have to fill the valid claim form online at www.applewarrantysettlement.com. All the important information about being eligible to claim refund into the settlement are given below:
  • To become eligible for the settlement, you must be a legal resident of United States.
  • Your iPhone or iPod touch has to be covered by original one-year limited warranty OR by an AppleCare Protection Plan to get your refund.
  • You must have submitted the completed claim form before due date October 21, 2013 by 9:00 p.m. or by mail submitted no later than October 21, 2013.
  • Verify that you are "Direct-Payment Settlement Class Members" or not, before submitting the claim form.
  • If you have to submit the claim form for more than one faulty Apple devices that comes under the warranty or an AppleCare Protection Plan, then fill out individual forms to get refunds on each device.
  • If you exactly don’t know your Apple device’s warranty, then you can enter Serial number of your device.

If you receive a notice in the mail or by e-mail with a claim number that begins with the number “1”, then you will come under the "Direct-Payment Settlement Class Members" and you do not need to fill the claim form, as you will get your refund in the form of check.
