Intellicorp Records Inc. and Insurance Information Exchange LLC have agreed to pay $18 million to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging that companies violated a federal law. You are entitled to receive a cash payment of up to $2,000, if these companies provided a consumer report to your employer or potential employer between April 16, 2010 and September 16, 2013. Plaintiffs claimed that Defendants violated the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) by providing inaccurate, incomplete and outdated reports to employers. According to plaintiffs, the companies violated the law in 2 ways. First, the companies violated the accuracy provision of the law and second, defendants violated a provision that requires the companies to provide consumers with copies of their consumer reports before delivering them to potential employers.

All the Class Members who were the subject of a Criminal SuperSearch and did not get a notification can get a refund of $50. Class Members who think their reports were incorrect have to submit a Claim Form to get an additional refund of up to $2,000.
