BevMo's Five Cent Sale Settlement over misleading statements

BevMo's Five Cent Sale Settlement
A settlement has been proposed with the Beverages & More Inc. According to the class action settlement the company made misleading statements about its 5 Cent Sale to the consumers of California. And due to this consumers believe that they were receiving a bigger than they in reality received. So, if you have purchased wine at BevMo’s 5 Cent Wine Sale during the Class Period, you can get benefits from this settlement.

The defendant, BevMo denies all the wrong doing and allegations in the lawsuit, but has as agreed to settle the class action lawsuit.

Who’s Eligible for Five Cent Sale Settlement?


If you bought one or more two-bottle sets of wine at Beverages & More during a 5 Cent Sale, between Oct. 9, 2005 and Feb. 9, 2010, either at a California BevMo store or through BevMo’s website, you are eligible to participate in the settlement.

Five Cent Sale Settlement Benefits


Class Members will get a $1 discount coupon for every two-bottle set of wine bought during a 5 Cent Sale during the Class Period. The coupons can be redeemed in store for a discount on any goods sold by BevMo for up to one hundred eighty days after they are issued by the company.

Points to Note:

If you are an eligible class member you will automatically receive an email including discount coupons.

If you think your email address is not current in BevMo’s database, you may update your data online or by calling BevMo’s customer service number.
