File a claim into the Porsche Cayenne Coolant Pipe class action settlement on CoolantPipeSettlement.com and get your refund of $100 to $1,800.
A class action against Porsche Cars North America Inc. has been settled down for the settlement fund of $45 million to reimburse Porsche Cayenne owners. If you own or lease Porsche Cayenne with the coolant pipes made of plastic, then you can file your claim into the Porsche Cayenne Coolant Pipe Settlement to get your compensation.
As per the claims of class members, plastic cooling tubes that were installed in the model year 2003 to 2006 Cayenne vehicles got degraded prematurely causing fracture and several damages to engine. Company asked to replace damaged plastic pipes with new ones, but class members told that company should offer an “update kit” that contained aluminum coolant pipes that will cost between $1,500 and $3,600 per vehicle.
Porsche have denied of any wrong doing by saying that every class member has faced the problem after warranty period expired so there is no point to offer update kit to every eligible class member. Still both the parties have agreed to settle down with the refunds. As per the settlement, every eligible class member who is resident of United States and own or lease a 2003 to 2006 Porsche Cayenne vehicle with a V8 engine made between January 28, 2002 and December 5, 2006, can file a claim to get their refund.
Last date to claim a refund in the Porsche Cayenne Coolant Pipe Settlement is December 12, 2014. Final fairness hearing will be on March 10, 2014. For more details and court documents, one can browse www.coolantpipesettlement.com.
