The massive auction website, eBay has agreed to end a more than 3 year long class action lawsuit by paying $6.4 million reimbursement to around 1.2 million sellers. eBay has sent legal notices about "Good 'Til Cancelled" class action settlement via email to all the sellers who placed Good Til Cancelled GTC Listings on eBay.com, eBay Stores or eBay Motors.

Who are class members?

United States residents who placed Good Til Cancelled GTC Listings on eBay.com, eBay Stores or eBay Motors and were charged Disputed Fees.

• Stores Listings Class Period: March 30, 2010 to June 19, 2012
• Core Listings and Motor Listings Class Period: September 16, 2008 to June 19, 2012

Claims

Plaintiffs filed a class action lawsuit against eBay alleging that the company did not disclosed GTC listings recurring charges and claimed the feature came at no extra cost. EBay denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle the class action lawsuit to avoid further expenses and risk.

Active eBay Account

Class Members with active account don’t have to do anything. They will get the compensation directly into their account. If your active eBay account information is incorrect, then update it online at eBayGoodTilCancelledClassAction.com or via mail or email before June 1, 2015.

Inactive eBay Accounts

Class Members with inactive account will get a check to their address. If your active eBay account information is incorrect, then update it online at eBayGoodTilCancelledClassAction.com or via mail or email before June 1, 2015.

Closed eBay Accounts

Class members with closed account must provide their contact information online at Update Information page on eBayGoodTilCancelledClassAction.com, mail or email before June 1, 2015.
