Consumers, who have received an electronically printed receipt between June 3, 2008 and August 27, 2013 from the Shoe Show store, can get compensation from Shoe Show Settlements on ShoeShowSettlement.com.

Violation of laws can lead to many problems for defaulter. A case came into limelight when it is alleged that Shoe Show, Inc. has dishonored the FACTA law. FACTA stands for Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act. As per plaintiff Dawn Dover, Shoe Show was providing receipts that had the last five digits of the numbers customer’s credit cards or debit cards along with the expiry date of the cards. But, Shoe Show denies all the wrong doing. Now in order to save time, they agreed for settlement. All those customers, who had received an electronically printed receipt from the shoe show store between June 3, 2008 and August 27, 2013 including more than the last five digits and/ or expiry date of credit or debit card number, are eligible for compensation.

In order to get the benefits, you need to file the claim form. Those, who are eligible and have receipt with them, are entitled to get $35.00 voucher and those, who don’t have any receipt, will get $7.00 Voucher. The last date to file the claim form is not announced yet, but class members have to file the claim form within 90 days, after the final hearing of the court. The final hearing of the court will be held on March 13, 2014.
